FRANCE 2019

 

 

First long trip for me in 2019 and first long haul flight with Vietnam Airlines.

We stopped at Ho Chi Minh City before heading to Paris.  Visited our favourite restaurant (3rd time there).  The food is still impressive although the oysters are a lttle "thin".

Next 7 days on the River Rhone with SS Catherine by Uniworld.  Relaxing and plenty to eat, although not as impressive as the Portugal River cruise we took in 2017.

Weather was good, with only some rain on a few days, not too cold.

We didn't take the shore excursion at Vietnam, PP. It was too short a time and too expensive. Maybe, one of us should check it out sometime soon.
